Have you ever considered replacing your standard water heater with a tankless water heater?
Your Existing Water Heater is Going Bad
Maybe your water heater is on its last legs, and you’re trying to decide what to replace it with. We often recommend a tankless water heater if your house has a good setup for it. If your house has a large enough gas line, your roof is not too steep, and you have outlets nearby to plug the tankless water heater into, you have an optimal setup for one. Normally houses have a 1/2” gas line, which is what is required to run a standard water heater. Some houses are built with 3/4” lines, and that’s ideal for a tankless water heater.
You Don’t Plan on Moving Anytime Soon
Tankless water heaters are ideal if you’re going to be in your house for a long time. With a tankless, you’re never going to go out of town and come home to an unpleasant surprise. If you keep up the annual maintenance on a tankless heater it will last double to triple the length of a standard water heater. Sometimes it will last forever if you just keep up the maintenance!
You Have Kids and Love Showers With Hot Water
As your kids get older, their showers get longer. Just the way it goes! If you don’t want them to “use all the hot water”, we recommend a tankless water heater so that EVERYONE in the house gets a hot shower.
If this sounds good to you, give us a call and we’ll come to look at your existing water heater and your house setup and give you our recommendation. If a tankless water heater is not right for you, we can get you the water heater that is just right for you and your needs.
