1. Your Water Heater Pan Collects Water
If you ever go up in your attic to put boxes away, or to get ready for the holiday season, and you notice any moisture in the bottom of your water heater pan—that is definitely a sign that the water heater has failed in some way, shape or form. It’s time to get it replaced!
2. Moisture on Top of the Water Heater
Another thing to look for is moisture on the top of the heater. Check out the top of your water heater. Do you see any corrosion? If you do, that’s another indicator that you could have a problem brewing. If you see moisture around any of the fittings or connections, or water in the drain pain, those are definitely signs that your water heater is getting old, and it’s time to get it replaced.
Give us a call and we can definitely get that done for you with ease! We’ll get you back up and running with an updated water heater which will be much more energy efficient than the one you had!
